How to play Kalah Mancala
Mancala is a family of sowing games. Seedline uses the widely played Kalah rules, so every special move is predictable.
- Choose one non-empty pit on your side and sow its seeds counter-clockwise, one pocket at a time.
- Add a seed to your own store, but always skip the opponent’s store.
- End in your store to play again. End in an empty pit on your side opposite seeds to capture both sides.
- When either side is empty, the other player collects their remaining seeds. The fuller store wins.

- Count routes into your store to build consecutive turns.
- Keep an eye on empty pits: they are both capture tools and risks.
- Before taking seeds, check the strongest reply you leave across the board.
